Reiki II - Ch 2. Link between Thoughts, Stresses & Diseases

An average human being at any given point in time has hundreds, maybe thousands of thoughts occupying the space of his mind every day. These thoughts, though seemingly innocuous, have the potential to transform into stresses which can then become ticking time bombs having the potential to turn into major ailments.

These thoughts need to be dealt with appropriately at the proper time preferably before the related diseases manifest in the physical body.

For example, Financial Situation can be the main stress in an individual’s life. This stress is not a physical disease to start with AND can actually work in his favour. This will happen only if he makes a conscious decision to look at, and then work upon, the reasons for his current financial state. On the other hand, the same stress, if left unchecked, can result in an increased blood pressure. This, we already know is the starting point for a number of other physical ailments.

Additionally, there is the possibility for the person living with Financial Stress to start substance abuse and become dependent on alcohol, drugs etc. in an attempt to forget his problems, maybe for a short period of time on an everyday basis.

Along the way, this one situation (of financial problems) may affect the family relationships and take the joy out of living. (Cause for Diabetes)

Self-worth is another area that can take a severe beating resulting in the individual losing out on self-confidence, the desire and will to succeed and eventually a will to live.

Since conventional methods of treatment are dealing with the physical aspect only, we can safely say that a complete healing in this situation is IMPOSSIBLE. This is because Complete Healing should logically involve healing the cause of the problem too which is the Financial Situation (in this particular case). The damaged relationships also need to be healed in addition to the individual’s self-worth and self-confidence. The desire to succeed and live life fully has also to be instilled.

In reality, the problems of the physical body, in such cases, become insignificant when compared to the rest, yet these significant other problems are ignored almost all the time because of reasons that are obvious.

NOT only that, the physicians tending to the patient do not have any structure in place (not to mention time) to counsel the patients regarding the impact that the High Blood Pressure (for example) is having on the other areas. And vice-versa!

The physicians keep on trying to solve the problems of the physical body while the individual is left alone to fend for himself for the other BIGGER problems.

The lucky few who do manage to come back after going the distance attribute their turnaround to Divine Intervention and by the Grace of God.

Healing with Reiki is nothing but increasing the chances of this Divine Intervention – many times over.

* * * *
At times, the stresses in an individual’s life MAY BE because of the ill health of a loved one.

Or there could be stresses linked to the unbearable guilt associated with an act committed, knowingly or unknowingly, in the past.

Likewise, there are infinite numbers of situations in our lives that all have the potential to create stresses in our Minds. From there on it is a short journey for the disease/s to manifest at the level of the Physical Bodies.

The ones having faith on the system can use that as the starting point for the healing work. On the other hand, the logical ones need to completely (and properly) understand the energy dynamics of how this happens before their minds will allow them to work on their thoughts and the related stresses.

The obvious fact is that the conventional systems of treatment just have no answers to these problems. The Reiki system of healing is known to work in all these areas. Sounds amazing and too good to be true! But it is not as easy as it sounds. It does involve a bit of work. One needs to become a warrior of sorts. But the rewards are well worth the journey.

Ultimately!
